🎶🎹 Engage your students in practice...

Getting piano students to practice is one of the easiest things to complain about.

However, each time I complain, I feel a twinge of guilt because I was totally that kid who didn’t love practicing.

In fact, when my mom made the rule that I couldn’t touch the piano to “play around” until after I practiced, I hated practicing so much that I would forfeit the pleasure of touching the piano at all.

Thankfully, I got through that rough patch of practice hatred.

I can’t give you an easy solution to get your piano students to love practicing piano; however, I do have some tips for you on how to teach your students to practice.

Today on the blog read How to Teach Piano Students to Practice.

If our students are only going to be on the piano sporadically, we can equip them with understanding how to practice efficiently.
